Buy Medicines - Steps Involved

Here are the 7 steps for consumers to buy medicines on the PepPill mobile app.

STEP 1 – Upload your prescription

To start placing your order, you need to provide a valid medical prescription. This is the first step to buy medicines on PepPill. You can choose the image of the prescription from your device, or you can take a quick snap of your prescription. You can upload up to 10 prescriptions while placing an order.

STEP 2 – Convey any requirements to the pharmacist

You can specify any notes for the pharmacist. For example, you can mention that you require only the exact medicine and you don’t prefer any alternatives. Here, you can also request to apply any available discounts in your order.

STEP 3 – Choose a pharmacy to place your order

Select a medical shop near your location, or you can even search for a particular location to select from the list of pharmacies in that location. After placing orders, your recent stores would be saved, so you can choose them easily on your next order.

STEP 4 – Choose mode of delivery

Once you pick the store, you can choose if you require home delivery (Please note that this option would be available only if the store provides home delivery). Otherwise, you would need to visit the store to pick up the medicines.

STEP 5 – Store sends an estimate

After placing the order, PepPill would digitize the medical prescription, and the store would start to estimate the order. The store would provide details like rate, available quantity, unavailable medicines, mode and time of delivery in the estimate.

STEP 6 – Accept the estimate

You need to review the estimate and decide to proceed on the order, based on the order value, medicine availability, and time of delivery/pickup. You can also delete some medicines if you wish before accepting the estimate from the pharmacy. If you wish to cancel the order, you can do after providing the reason.

STEP 7 – Confirm delivery

This is the last step to buy medicines on PepPill. The store will finalize the order and the order status will become ‘Confirmed’. Till this point you can cancel your order. After you receive the medicine, you can confirm the delivery, and the order status will become ‘Delivered’.
